MORRIS WOMEN'S RUGBY

Morris Women's Rugby Football Club is a competitive Division III team in the Empire Geographic Union (Empire GU).

Morris Women ranked #1 in the Empire GU in the 2016-2017 and 2018-2019 league 15s seasons. We also field high performance and social 7s sides during the summer!

Our coaches dedicate their time and expertise in guiding the Morris Women to foster camaraderie and achieve rugby excellence.

Throughout the year Morris Women can typically be found practicing on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-9 pm at either Mennen Arena in Morristown, NJ or Pocono Field in Denville, NJ.

Practices are open to players of all skill levels — no experience necessary! We look forward to seeing you there.

Women’s team practice will start on 8/17 from 7-9 at Mennen (every Monday and Wednesday)

Morris Women's Rugby 15s and 7s History:

Morris Women’s Rugby was born in the spring of 1992. It all began when one woman, Trish McEniry, decided she still wanted to play rugby after her collegiate career was over and she started practicing with the men’s team. Trish recruited some friends to come out and try the sport. As everyone all knows and loves about rugby, if you make it through your first practice, you’re hooked…and they were.
