MORRIS U12/U14 GIRLS
Morris Rugby U 14 girls tackle team would like to announce that we will now be starting a U 12 girls tackle team. For the first 3 years of our young team, we have had our younger girls playing with our older girls. It is time for the younger girls to have their own team and Identity. Our under 12 year old girls team will still practice alongside out U14 girls team, but will also be doing team work as their own team. Our U 14 girl’s team is the very first and only team in NJ and our U 12 team will also be the first in NJ. We welcome all girls aged 14 and under for our U 14 team, and all girls aged 12 and under for our u12 team. No experience necessary to join our team.
All of our coaches are certified with USA Rugby, and keep a safe and fun environment. Coaches focus on technique to promote the correct way of contact.
Practices are Monday’s and Wednesday’s (with some Saturday mornings practices) in Denville, NJ. Our games are Sunday’s.
We encourage all girls to come out and try a new sport, and if they do not like it, there will be no fee’s to pay. Our team is very welcoming to new players, and it is a great way to make new friends, build confidence, get exercise, and just have fun!
