MORRIS U12-U14 BOYS
ANNOUNCING THE MORRIS LIONS U12/U14 BOYS TACKLE PROGRAM
NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!
(WE ARE USING TEAMSNAP FOR REGISTRATION)
The program is designed for players to learn and participate in full contact rugby. The U14’s and U12’s will be competing against other teams in the tri-state area. Whenever possible, these teams will travel together to the same venues. Morris Rugby is proud to continue our pioneering of youth contact rugby and our mission is to provide a fun and engaging experience for all.
To join the U12s, players cannot have turned 12 before September 1 of each year. To join the U14s, players cannot have turned 14 before September 1. Players that miss that cutoff are invited to join the High School Boys program.
MANDATORY MEDICAL FORMS POSTED BELOW
In preparation for the upcoming season, team players will need to complete the following forms (each of which is posted below):
- USA Rugby Medical Questionnaire
- NJSBRO Concussion Info Form
- Baseline Concussion Testing Instructions
These forms will be kept by the coach on the sideline for use by the Athletic Trainers or Medical Personnel in case of player injury.
The U12/U14 Boys team will practice every Monday and Wednesday night from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Mennen Arena. Practices begin on March 5, 2018 at Mennen
