High School Boys player Akil DeBruhl (Flanker) and Jonathan Mitchell (Wing) have been part of the Morris Rugby program for several years. They have represented Morris at various levels in both 15’s and 7’s over the years and have been a key part of the success of the Morris teams. Akil starting as a winger/center recently made a very successful move to the flanker position and Jonathan with his pace has played both as winger or fullback and both being top performers and try scorers for Morris Lions. We hope the experiences and skills they have developed in the past will serve them well in the future.

Rowan University is located in southern New Jersey. Rowan Rugby (The Profs) moved to D1AA in the fall of 2017 and were MARC Champions in 2015 and 2016

Congratulations to both and we wish them every success as they continue their rugby careers in college.
