This is an event every High School Rugby Player should participate in. Here is why!

The Combine:

  1. Your child will participate in a professional fitness assessment that focus’ on agility, mobility and force production. Most high school students have never participated in this type of evaluation.
  2. This assessment data can be used as a tool to benchmark the players current fitness level and set goals for the future.
  3. The fitness data can be used as part of the players “rugby resume” as they apply to colleges, select side camps and scholarship opportunities.
  4. Growth in fitness, is a sign of dedication and commitment to health, strength and improving the game of rugby.

The College Fair:

  1. The college fair gives students a chance to speak to College Coaches, Administrators, Admission Counselors and supporters within the Rugby Community. They get to speak words, rather then text or email. This is a great opportunity to build communication skills.
  2. College is an academic experience. This event gives student the opportunity to explore different programs of study. Some of these colleges and academic paths may not have been on their radar before.
  3. Collegiate Rugby has many levels of play and commitment. Finding the right fit is key. Having a student / parent learn about different programs is powerful tool to have when decision time is near.
