Volunteer Needed: Athletic Trainer Coordinator
Morris Rugby is dedicated to the health and welfare of all our players, and we require athletic trainers at all our home games. To achieve this, we have an agreement with Atlantic Health, and the volunteer athletic trainer coordinator is the liaison between all teams’ Head Coaches and Atlantic Health. There is no requirement to have any medical knowledge for this role, but good organization and communication skills will be critical. Anyone who can help with this important position please contact Andrea Matthews as soon as possible at [email protected]. |

On Thursday, September 14th, Morris Rugby held our annual golf outing at Farmstead Golf & Country Club in Lafayette, NJ. The sun shone down on our 60 registered golfers for a beautiful day on the green. Thank you to our volunteers for your hard work on the day, and especially PJ Miller for organizing the tricky tray. Congratulations to the winning foursome: Thank you to our sponsors! |

Munster Rugby Coaches Pay a Visit
On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, coaches from Munster Rugby visited Mennen to guest coach our boys and girls tackle teams. Head of Rugby Development, Colm McMahon, led the the session with support from other Munster coaches who had traveled the US to attend the annual “Friends of Munster Youth Rugby” dinner. Morris players learned a lot and got to see the United Rugby Championship Cup in person. Big thanks to the Munster Rugby Supporters Club, USA Branch for organizing the visit—and to the coaches for sharing their knowledge with us! |
