Girls Teams Cap Off Stellar Spring Seasons with Mid-Atlantic Rugby Showcase
This past weekend, Morris Rugby High School Girls and Middle School Girls hosted the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Showcase. Teams from across Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania traveled to beautiful Bundt Park in Lebanon, NJ to participate in the two-day event. Morris HS Girls went 3-0 to cap off an undefeated season, and MS girls went 3-0 in the 90-degree heat. 20+ coaches from top women’s rugby college programs attended the showcase to scout the talent and connect with eligible high school players. Congrats to the girls on an incredible weekend of rugby, as well as to all the coaches and parents who pulled it off, especially lead organizer Mike Eisenhart and the team at BaseCamp 31. Visit rugbyshowcase.com to see fantastic photos taken by Lindsay Eisenhart and Kris O’Brien, as well as full matches filmed by Ronan McLaughlin. And, mark your calendar now for next year’s event! |
