HS Boys Compete at NY 7s with Rugby NJ Boys Selects
On Saturday November 25, 2023, Rugby NJ fielded a select HS Boys side at the annual New York 7s tournament on Randall’s Island. Three Morris Rugby players were selected out of 30 who tried out. After three solid wins, Rugby NJ made it to the final where they fell short 19-14 to Play Rugby. Overall a great outing for the selects. Congratulations Oliver, Oliver and Sebastian! |

HS Girls Compete at NY 7s Across Three Teams
The High School Girls players were out in full force at NY 7s as well! Morris entered a full side in the tournament, and JoJo Mignone played for The Rugby Advantage. Several players also suited up for the two Elite Girls Rugby (EGRL) Select sides. Congratulations to Erin O’Brien, Maria Wise, Anna Yerofeyev, Cassie Ball, Abby Cirillo, Sosi Hoerning, Amanda Korfin, and Anna Kugelman on your selection! |

Amy Marks Appointed to New Role for USWRF
Amy Marks, a Morris Women’s Rugby alumna and parent of current HS Girls player, MacKenzie Marks, was recently named Chair of Corporate Partnerships for the US Women’s Rugby Foundation (USWRF). Donate Toys for Tots Through December 3rd
There’s still time to donate Toys for Tots! Bring an unwrapped toy to the Moose through this Sunday, December 3rd; collection bins are located in the bar area. Also, the next pancake breakfasts at the Moose are December 10th, January 14th and February 11th. $12 per person includes scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, danishes, coffee and tea. All proceeds support longtime Moose member, Craig Neidel, to help with his mounting medical bills. Open to all Moose members and qualified guests; see flyer attached. |

The trustees were pleased to provide new custom pop-up tents to our teams this fall. These branded tents raise the profile of Morris Rugby—and of course shelter our players from the elements! Keep an eye out for the new tents on the sidelines this spring. |
