Morris HS Players Are Leaders on the Field — and Off
Three Morris Rugby High School players attended the 2019 Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar from June 6-9, 2019 at Kean University.
Emilia Monrad and Turner Brennan, both of Boonton High School, and Xanthe Miller of Millburn High School joined sophomore students from throughout the state to build their leadership skills.
Women’s 7s player SJ Matthews — a rising senior and recently-elected Student Association President at George Washington University — was also in attendance at NJ HOBY as a group facilitator.
HOBY emphasizes “volunteerism, integrity, excellence, diversity, and community partnership” — all values shared and encouraged by Morris Rugby.
Congratulations Emilia, Turner, Xanthe and SJ — keep making Morris Rugby proud on and off the pitch!
