Two Morris Lions High School Seniors signed their letters of intent to play Rugby at Iona College at Rugby New Jersey’s 2018 Combine and College Fair.
Liam Andersen (Loose Forward) and Dilsher Maini (Flyhalf) with the Morris Lions U18 team have many years of experience in the Morris program both in 7’s and 15’s. They have been members of numerous All State, Blaze, Atlantis or EIRA teams and tours etc. In addition, working hard over the years with Morris Lions and at many camps and clinics they have developed the skills and experience they will take with them to Iona College.
Iona College RFC, of New Rochelle, NY, founded in 1977, has a D-1A program in the recently formed Liberty Conference comprising of top northeast teams.
