Youth Flag Rugby is a fast paced, safe, and fun way to improve in any athletic skill. It is a coed, non-contact form of rugby using flags. Skills developed including running, kicking, passing, space strategy, teamwork, and self-confidence. The goal is to have FUN!
The flag season is run as a clinic, with evening practices twice per week and Saturday morning games scheduled against neighboring towns. Children from any town are welcome to join any program. The program is intended for kids entering Kindergarten through 9th grade.

Youth Flag Referees Wanted
Morris Rugby is looking for referees for our youth flag matches on Saturday mornings from June 18th until July 23rd! A minimum of three weeks refereeing is guaranteed. Starting payment for new referees is $40 per Saturday worked.
Referee experience not required! Successful applicants are required to attend two training sessions to be held on Monday, June 6th and Wednesday, June 8th before the season begins. (Returning referees are particularly needed for Eagle level.)
You must be at least entering 9th grade in the fall of 2022 and should not be planning on playing or coaching flag rugby to be considered. If you are thinking about playing tackle 7s during the summer, please check with your coach for the schedule to ensure your availability before you apply. You do not need to be available all six weeks but should be available a minimum of three weeks.
